How this site earns money, and the specific thing that money does not buy.
How we are paid
Where this site links out to a broker, that link may carry our tracking: if you open an account through it and go on to trade, the broker pays us a commission. We are paid by the broker, not by you. Nothing here costs a reader anything, and we add nothing to the terms the broker offers you.
Not every broker covered here has a commercial relationship with us. Brokers are included because they serve residents of United Arab Emirates and could be measured, not because a deal exists. 75 brokers are measured for United Arab Emirates, and the list is not filtered by whether we are paid.
What the commission does not affect
- Scores. A score is produced by the formula on the methodology page from six measured axes. A commercial relationship is not one of them and there is no manual adjustment on top.
- The order of a table. Rows are ordered by score. There is no paid row, no promoted slot and no reordering of any kind for a partner.
- Who gets covered. Inclusion follows the measured base, not the commercial one.
- What we print about a broker. A regulator warning, an offshore onboarding entity or a missing licence number is shown on the card of a partner exactly as it is shown on anyone else's.
The ordering can be checked rather than taken on trust: the weights, the anchors and the rules for missing data are published, and the score of every broker is shown next to the axes it was built from.
Why a review site is paid this way at all
The alternatives are a paywall or selling placement. Commission on an account the reader chose to open is the arrangement that leaves the rankings alone, provided the ranking is computed before the link is attached — which is why the order here comes out of a file of weights rather than out of a conversation.
Risk
CFDs are complex instruments and carry a high risk of losing money rapidly because of leverage. Nothing here is a recommendation to open an account or to trade, and our commission does not depend on you doing well.
